Moon River Cha Cha
The Song "Moon River" was composed in 1961 by Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer for the movie "Breakfast At Tiffany´s". Who can´t remember the unforgettable scene when Audrey Hepburn sings "Moon River wider than a mile… I´m crossing you in style some day..." This version is meant for dancing and features the saxophone-section in a cha-cha-style arrangement.

It had better be tonight
"Meglio Stasera" (known in English as "It Had Better Be Tonight"), is a 1963 song with music by Henry Mancini. It was composed for the 1964 film "The Pink Panther". In the film, a young actress named Fran Jeffries sings the song while slowly dancing around a fireplace at a ski lodge where all the principal players of the film are gathered. The song has been recorded in a number of different (also instrumental) versions. Heinz Fallmann playes the theme on guitar and the "Hackbrett".

Ufo
U.F.O. is a British television science fiction series created by Gerry Anderson and Sylvia Anderson. The premise of the show is that in the near future (a fictional version of 1980) the Earth is being harvested for replacement body organs by aliens. The music of composer Barry Gray will evoke instant recognition from most television viewers who were over 30 in 2001. Gerd Rahstorfer takes the "alien-scanner-solo-trumpet".

From the movie "Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head" was the number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States in January 1970. It is known as a very happy, optimistic song and often associated with the 1969 film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Star Trek Bossa
Star Trek debuted in the United States on NBC on September 8th, 1966. The show tells the tale of the crew of the Starship Enterprise and their five year mission "to boldly go where no man has gone before." Alexander Courage is probably best known for writing the theme music to the original Star Trek television series. We changed the original arrangement slightly to a Bossa Nova version. The melody is played by Martin Ptak (trombone) and Cornelia Pesendorfer (englishhorn). Ray Aichinger takes the solo-part on tenor-sax.

Meditation
Newton Mendonça wrote together with Antonio Carlos Jobim several immortal classics of Bossa Nova. One of their most famous songs in collaboration is "Meditação" (1960). This version, sung by Caroline de Rooij, refers to the original recording of the glorious singer "Maysa" on her album "Voltei" released in 1960.

"Desafinado" is a Bossa Nova song composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim. Newton Mendonça wrote the lyrics for the original version, but there are also plenty of different instrumental versions. This track is a beautiful interpretation by Martin Ptak who plays the main melody on the piano.
